v0.9.1¶
A metadata release. No library code changes — nothing to rebuild, no cache invalidation, no behavioural difference from v0.9.0.
Citation metadata¶
.zenodo.json and CITATION.cff are added, so the archived record for this
and every later release carries correct citation metadata.
Zenodo's GitHub integration mints a record from whatever it can infer when a
release has no .zenodo.json in the tagged commit. For v0.9.0 that produced a
record titled ligon/LSMS_Library: v0.9.0, crediting twelve "authors"
scraped from the GitHub contributor list — a mix of real collaborators, bare
handles, and two agent accounts. From v0.9.1 the record instead reads:
| field | value |
|---|---|
| title | LSMS_Library: a uniform interface to Living Standards Measurement Study household surveys |
| creator | Ligon, Ethan — ORCID 0000-0003-4928-0616 |
| license | CC-BY-4.0 |
The v0.9.0 record (10.5281/zenodo.21493435) has been corrected by hand;
Zenodo never re-reads .zenodo.json for an already-published record, so the
file only governs releases from this one onward.
Neither file pins a version or release date: this project derives its version
from the git tag via poetry-dynamic-versioning, and Zenodo takes the version
from the tag name, so a pinned value would only go stale.
Cite the concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.17258079
for "all versions"; it resolves to the latest release.
Documentation¶
docs(#601): design note on the population record — declaring what a sample represents.
Upgrading¶
Nothing to do. If you cite this library, prefer the concept DOI above, or the
CITATION.cff now shipped in the repository.
